The strong, shocking light of the sun everyday, shows the buildings in hundreds of shades of gently coloured greys, standing against a beautiful collection of blues. The sky is a bath of different blues, changing every minute, and the colours in the sea are very beautiful. The people of Paros have used strong blue paint on their windows and doors for many years, but sometimes reds and other colours are added to the pallet.
I now live in this beautiful light, and I hope my paintings share my senses with you.

In late 2014 I spent four months living in Italy, where the shapes and colours are similar to Greece, but never quite as rich and strong.
